Hand Me The Ball

Talk Bits: I just watched Sell Out! with KinkyVeeky and Laurel which was pretty boring, sorry to say. With all the average reviews and not-too-bad comments on it all over blogs and Twitter, I expected more. The best thing was Peter Davis who looks like Azim, ahahha.

For the past 2 months or so, I have been sacrificing my Sundays fortnightly for an ongoing open handball league. We went up against mostly teams from various local universities and veterans who participated in SUKMA and the SEA Games. We didn't go in expecting a win but merely for some good ball fun and experience.

Of van rides and bus rides.

Every match we played, we lost pretty badly but yet not too bad because I'm keeper la, JOKE. Nevertheless, it has been fun. Fun watching other teams, playing with other teams and hanging out with my own team. We had pizza today - terminated our hunger! (Domino's phone slogan, damn lame, ahaha!)

With the amount of matches we won (try nil), we expected nothing but guess what! We got a medal, a silver medal even... for being second... from the bottom! Well, the Top 8 get medals and we were No.7; not bad huh? Except that the the medal states "Loser Pool" but all in all, the experience, fun and great live handball matches made up for it.

Is that it for handball and us?

One of the best teams and champions for the Men Open category was Vanilla Star and the other was Hoisan. They played the last match today and boy, was it awesome! Jaw-dropping, non-stop cheering and whooo, just pure awesomeness. Some snippets below but non of them goals (sorry la, timing wasn't right) so enjoy! Don't mind the rear of number eleven but he's pretty cute huh? :D
