[UPDATE] The New Me

Talk Bits: Petai and durian - so yummy but why so smelly? = (

I had spent 45 minutes getting there, 3 hours or so there and 20 minutes back. I went to do my hair with dearest mumsie which took up my entire study time. I did study there though but America's Next Top Model came on. Teehee. My coach called up and canceled tennis today - talk about purrrrfect timing. I needed a haircut, badly! Off we went.. The traffic jam was horrendous but we managed.

Some of you might know that I have contemplating on cutting my hair short recently. Well, I asked the hairdresser whether I should and he said I could pull it off. Having had short hair almost all my life until I got into Cempaka, I swore that I would never cut my hair short ever again. Trust me, my primary hair was not pretty and that made me not too happy. Anyways, having been in need of a newer and fresher look, I told the hairdresser to cut however he wanted. Some people think I'm nuts but there is a reason why I go all the way to Gombak to cut my hair. I trust my hairdresser kays..

Although for a moment I did not when I saw him just snipping away like a mad man and then asked for the RAZOR. The last time someone used a razor on my head was three years ago! So, I was pretty freaked. The final results of it all.. *drum roll please*..


My reaction? Um.. *gulps* Okay. (in a tiny, squeaky voice) and then I go call Hannah going AHHHHHHHH! It's an elevator bob. Pretty much like Rihanna's and Syahida's. And by the way, to all those who wanna cut their hair to get rid of the past/ memories/ shit, it's all bull. I still feel the same about everything and everything is still stressing me out. The only thing is less water, shampoo, time and effort - EVERYONE SHAVE BALD! SAVE WATER! HAHA. And oh, feels very light. So light that I feel bald. Well, ain't everyone in for a shocker tomorrow. XOXO.

I am still freaked over my hair. The morning mirror will help let it sink in.

The morning mirror DID help sink it in. AHHHH. Anyways, everybody had different reactions in school - some downright hilarious and some totally mean and some very positive. I regretted for a bit and then thought that what is done is done and 'sides, what is life without taking risks and this is just my hair for my goshies sake! So yes, I am contented with my hair =)

And oh, you know how when you have just cut your hair and everyone goes, "You cut your hair?" Like point out the obvious much right? (but I do it too la) Well, here's what I said.
